Dodisdodat.com was launched on January 18th, 2010. Created by zeke43, with help from a few friends, dodisdodat's mission was to provide users with a complete site: one that combined the best elements of blogs, tutorial sites, forums and social networks.
Of course, the focus is mainly on creating quality, easy to follow tutorials - regardless of skill level. Add to the mix some helpful reviews, a support forum, social community, entertaining articles and some really great members - and you start to see what dodisdodat is all about!
But why another tutorial site?
The biggest reason is that zeke43 got tired of answering the same questions every day and decided that by posting the answers to the web he would eventually build up a single repository of trusted information where he could send answer seekers. Answer the question once and do it well!
Another reason is that while there are already countless tutorial and forum sites on the web, with a lot of redundant information, there's just no denying that some information is clearly better than the rest. Be it for it's clarity, simplicity, completeness, inclusion of pictures and or media - some writers simply have a knack for getting the point across.
Finally, zeke43 wanted to create a place where likeminded, honest, hard-working and benevolent people could congregate to share information, ideas and the occasional chuckle.
So?
Well...it`s not just about the tutorials, is it? Many tutorial sites are large, impersonal and lack interactivity. Most forums have great information but lack the ease of use one gets from step by step tutorials (either with pictures or video). Most social communities lack the educational or informational benefits of tutorial sites or forums. Dodisdodat is simply an attempt to create a site that benefits from all of them!
All tutorials are written by site members. Dodisdodat is currently not a tutorial directory or submission index.
Currently all written and video tutorials are offered, free of charge, for your own personal use. You do not have the right to distribute, republish or sell the materials found on this site without written consent.
