Whether you are in the mood for some music or looking for music to suit your mood, www.stereomood.com serves up music using a unique “mood” tag cloud to generate a song playlist for you.
Click on a “mood” tag word and www.stereomood.com serves up a playlist and starts streaming music automatically. I clicked “Summer” and the first song I got was a Jason Mraz and Bobby McFerrin mashup – very “summery”!
Not liking what you’re hearing and want to change your “mood”? Click the “home” link on the top right.
Don’t see any tags that match your particular mood? No problem, click the “more tags” link on the bottom right of the “mood” tag cloud…
I haven’t counted, but I’d say there’s 120+ “mood” tags for you to choose from. The player is clean and simply to use with familiar “Back”, “Pause/Play”, “Stop”, “Next” and “Volume” controls.
You can “join” or create an account for www.stereomood.com by clicking the “join” link on the upper right.
Members with an account are able to add songs they like to their own “library”, suggest tags for particular songs and email a song to a friend. Members and non-members can also “Shuffle” the playlist or purchase the song they are listening to from www.itunes.com or www.amazon.com . All of this can be done using the icons to the right of the media player.
So…whatever mood you may be in, go to www.stereomood.com , crank up the speakers and let the music take over.
