Almost everybody has a cell phone that can take pictures, listen to music and record short video clips, but the videos are in a proprietary format readable only by a program for that particular phone. Learn to convert them easily!
With mobile media converter you can convert your video files with just a few clicks. This program is available as a free download from miksoft.net and is available for several platforms.
Here is a quote from their site :
The Mobile Media Converter is a free video and audio converter for converting between popular desktop media formats like MP3, Windows Media Audio (wma), Ogg Vorbis Audio (ogg), Wave Audio (wav), MPEG video, AVI, Windows Media Video (wmv), Flash Video (flv), QuickTime Video (mov) and commonly used mobile devices/phones formats like AMR audio (amr) and 3GP video. Also, iPod/iPhone and PSP compatible MP4 video are supported.
The interface is simple and straightforward. Just click add to insert any and all files you wish to convert.
The input files are then listed, and by default the output folder is the same as the input folder you can change it by clicking on the Browse button (3 dots).
You can leave the conversion to: set on auto, but I would like this particular set of files in AVI format so I can make a DVD later on.
After you click convert!, it will then convert all the files in your list one by one.
If you wish you can also convert your favourite movie so you can watch it on your phone by going through all the steps but selecting the video format supported by your phone. (This can be found in your users manual).
