SpyFu_Pay_Per_Click_LeadThe most common form of monetization used on Websites is Pay Per Click advertising. Pay Per Click, or PPC, advertising works by placing advertising code snippets from a service such as Google Adsense or Chikita on your website. Ads are served automatically by your Pay Per Click service by trying to match advertisements to your content keywords. Target the wrong keywords, and your Pay Per Click ads will perform poorly, serving up Public Service Ads and low paying ads to your visitors. Not only that, but your Pay Per Click Click Through Ratio will likely be very low because the ads served will likely not compel visitors to click.

Good Keywords and High Paying Pay Per Click Advertisers

Targeting high quality keywords and writing high quality content are sure to bring you better, more targeted, traffic but doesn't assure you will be served high paying or related Pay Per Click ads. The reason is that there is a limited number of advertisers targeting specific keywords at any one time. So even if you do have winning content and a targeted traffic stream with high search keywords, there is no guarantee

there are high value Pay Per Click ads to match.

When I set about writing an article, I use a variety of tools and strategies to help me identify what people are searching for. Of course, my main objective, above all, is always to provide good quality posts that are relevant to my site and useful to my readers. But once I've identified a good topic or subject, before setting out to write my article, I generally perform a two step study to help my find a list of good keywords to target and to further pare those down by finding out which have the potential to serve up the highest paying Pay Per Click ads.

To identify good keywords, I use Market Samurai. Market Samurai is probably the best investment I've ever made as a webmaster and blogger because there is no other tool as easy tu use and as comprehensive as it on the market. To learn more about Market Samurai, read my series on Search Engine Optimization.
